what's it like interning at rasit



Written by Marilyne EL Haddad an intern at The Royal Academy of Science and International Trust, explore her journey as an intern with RASIT and RASIT's role in empowering youth in science.Marilyne El Haddad fell in love with biodiversity after earning her degree in biology. Her passion drove her to earn a master's in natural resource management and conservation. Marilyne is a Lebanese Youth Biodiversity Network member and a RASIT intern. Her goal is to improve society today for the benefit of future generations. She is a passionate researcher, loves the outdoors, and is a strong believer in sustainable development, as she believes that protecting natural resources ensures the survival of species. Along the way, Marilyne volunteered for a variety of organizations that were bringing about small-scale change and supporting young people just like herself in their quest for self-actualization and civic engagement.
